Community Trainings in the US

The training for community volunteers combines FEMA's C.E.R.T program with specialized Israel Homeland Security training, to certify individuals in emergency management techniques and life-saving skills. 

It is a program that will provide you with a wealth of knowledge and skills which will allow you to provide non-military community aid and life-saving support during your deployment. 

 

  • Receive extensive US based training in emergency management, community aid, and emergency first response
  • Become a Certified Emergency Responder in Israel and the USA
  • Receive official recognition as an Emergency Responder in Israel and USA
  • Be assigned to a specific team and "partner-city" in Israel
  • Receive accommodations, meals and local transportation in and by the cities during emergency deployment
  • Participate in sponsored logistical and social activities during any volunteering trips to Israel
  • Participate in subsidized training and volunteering programs in Israel 

 

This Initial EVP Training is for 2 days and will teach standards of readiness and acquaint you with the protocols and procedures of:

  • Fire Safety
  • Deployment Preparation and Protocols
  • Psychological First Aid
  • Terrorism – General Awareness
  • Operating Water Distribution Centers
  • Disaster Medical Operations, and Light Search and Rescue, and Disaster Simulation Drills
