Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak says

"The Iranians and Hezbollah are resolute in their determination to  sabotage Israeli daily life and are working against Israelis all over the globe"

Following the terrorist attack on the wife of an Israeli embassy official in India, Defense Minister, Ehud Barak said that: "The Iranians and Hezbollah are resolute in their determination to  sabotage Israeli daily life and are working against Israelis all over the globe"

He went on to say that "We must continue to act against terror and, at the same time,  continue preparing for the challenges that await us."

If ever conformation of the need for the EVP and its volunteers was needed, the word's of Minister Barak do just that!

The diplomats wife, Tal Yehoshua Koren, was wounded in the explosion and is now recovering from an operation at the New Delhi American Hospital.  She is expected to be medi-vaced back to Israel when well enough.  The blast was caused by a magnetic explosive device that had been attached to her car by a terrorist on a motorbike. 

Luckily, the driver of her car noticed the device and told her to get out of the car.  When the device exploded, both she and the driver were injured by shrapnel but the cars petrol tank did not explode thus averting an even greater tragedy as they were parked outside of Tal's children's school, waiting to pick them up.
