Israeli aircraft hit two terrorist targets in Gaza
Late Wednesday night, Israel Air Force jets hit at two terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip. An Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson confirmed the strikes and stated that they were in retaliation for repeated missile firings from the Gaza Strip into Israel's southern sector. The decision to launch the attacks was made after more missiles landed in Israel on Tuesday. This attack consisted of 4 Kassam rockets that hit Hof Ashkelon, Sdot Negev and the Eshkol Regional Council. Thankfully, no injuries or damage was reported
The IDF Spokesperson said that the pilots reported accurate hits on their targets and then added: " The IDF will not put up with any attempt to harm Israeli civilians or IDF soldiers and will keep on fighting any organization which uses terror as a weapon against the State of Israel. The Hamas terror organization bears full responsibility for any such acts".
According to Palestinian sources in the Gaza Strip, the centers hit were a Hamas terrorist training base in the Eastern area of Gaza and an Islamic Jihad training facility in the center of Gaza.
