Mossad, Singapore authorities foil a Hezbollah and Iranian plot to assassinate Defense Minister Ehud
In a report published by an English language newspaper in Kuwait, a scheme to assassinate Israel Defense Minister Ehud Barak was foiled last week in Singapore. According to the report, three terrorists were arrested in connection with the planned attack.
The paper went on to say that the terrorists had accurate information regarding Barak's schedule which, if true, will cause great concern in Israel's security establishment.
Minister Barak, a former Army Chief of Staff, has left Singapore and is now in Japan for a four day visit. His office refused to comment on the plot.
