I joined the EVP because I love Israel and believe that the Word of HaShem is as real and true today as it ever was. That Word says that Eretz Yisrael (the Land of Israel) was given to Abraham as an eternal covenant and passed on to his offspring, Yitzhak (Isaac) and then to Yacov (Jacob)--whose name was changed to Yisrael (Israel) by HaShem, Himself. Yisrael had twelve sons--the twelve tribes of Israel--and these became the Nation of Israel. If I stand with HaShem, then I must stand with Israel, for this is whom He loves and stands with. Almost all Hebrew words have a three letter VERB root--a VERB is an ACTION word. Faith is not just an abstract idea--faith is an ACTION! Part of that action for me is to ACTIVELY defend both Eretz Yisrael and Am Yisrael (the people of Israel) and help them in their time of trouble and distress. Yes, I pray for Israel daily, but joining the EVP and committing to come to help in the time of need is putting legs to those prayers and my "boots on the ground"! Avinu HaShamayim (our Heavenly Father) has promised to bless those who bless Israel--may you, too, consider joining in this great cause and may HaShem bless YOU, even according to His own Words from Psalm 122:6 and Genesis 26:4.
